"Today, we are celebrating the harvest in Slavonia. We are here also to be briefed about cattle breeding, the dairy sector and other activities within rural development," the president said after she visited the 400-hectare farm owned by the Vrakic family.
During the harvest, the president was shown how an ultra-modern combine harvester, worth 300,000 euros, operates.
The president also expressed concern about a decline in the rural population, saying that she would support measures to counter that trend.
