ZAGREB, July 3
(Hina) - Activists of the Franak association of
debtors with mortgages pegged to the Swiss franc hope that amendments
to the Consumer Protection Act will soon be be added to parliament's
agenda so as to force banks to refund overpaid interest for these
loans, and they demand that evictions be halted for cases where
distress orders have been instituted for these loans.
