SPLIT, June 28
(Hina) - The Split police are continuing an
investigation into the appearance of a Nazi symbol swastika on the
pitch of the city stadium during a Croatia-Italy qualifier on 12 June,
and so far recordings of 88 security cameras set around and inside the
Poljud stadium have been reviewed and 14 persons of interest have been
interrogated but they could not be brought into connection with the
incident, the Split Police superintendent Marko Srdarevic told a news
conference on Sunday in the biggest Croatian Adriatic city.
