This low tariff airline will offer two flights a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays from Gatwick Airport to Pula throughout the season until 31 October.
Until this year London to Pula flights were available through Ryanair and now with the additional Easyjet flights, Pula will be more accessible to Britons, Pula airport management said.
Attendants at Pula airport welcomed the Easyjet landing with a traditional watery welcome and Pilot Duncan Shannon had the honour of cutting a ceremonial tape to the airport terminal.
The introduction of Easyjet flights to Pula is considered to be one of the major events this season for that Istrian town.
Easyjet was founded in 1995 and has since rapidly developed and comprises a fleet of more than 200 planes. It has 24 bases around Europe, the largest being at Gatwick.
Last year alone, more than 65 million passengers travelled with Easyjet on more than 600 routes to over 30 countries making it the second strongest low-tariff airline after Ryanair.
Around 350,000 passengers travelled to Croatia last year with Easyjet.
