BREZOVICA, June 22
(Hina) - Addressing a commemoration on the
occasion of the Anti-Fascist Struggle Day in the Brezovica forest
outside Sisak on Monday, the president of the Association of
Anti-Fascist Fighters and Anti-Fascists of Croatia (SABAH), Franjo
Habulin, said that the formation of the first Partisan unit on 22 June
1941 in the Brezovica forest did not happen accidentally but was
planned by the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, the only party to have
openly opposed fascist occupation while other parties supported the
occupying forces or did not oppose them openly.
