ZAGREB, June 16
(Hina) - Representatives of war veterans who have
been protesting outside the Veterans' Ministry for the past seven
months told a news conference on Tuesday that since December last year
they have been solving their problems via the parliamentary war
veterans' subcommittee which has been working on the law on the rights
of war veterans and through a task force in the Pension Insurance
Institute, which is why they believe it is not necessary to set up
task forces, as agreed in talks with the government last week.
