ZAGREB, May 28
(Hina) - A senior official of the ruling Social
Democratic Party (SDP), Pedja Grbin, said at an extraordinary news
conference in the party offices on Thursday that the protest staged by
veterans of the 1991-95 Homeland War outside the government's offices
in St. Mark's Square was organised by the leader of the main
opposition HDZ party, Tomislav Karamarko, HDZ secretary-general
Milijan Brkic and the entire HDZ, as well as that the protest was a
repeated attack on state institutions.
