"Our aim is to promote and position Croatia on the global wine scene through four marketing regions - Slavonia and the Danube valley, Istria and Kvarner on Croatia's northern coast, Dalmatia and hilly Croatia. We are here because Serbia is an interesting market for Croatian wine producers and just last year over a million dollars worth of Croatian wines were exported to Serbia," HGK's Bozica Markovic told Hina.
Markovic added that trade was growing and the aim of the presentation in Serbia was to attract a targeted audience to visit Croatian wine routes and promote Serbian wines on the Croatian market.
"Some Serbian wines are already present in Croatia and today we invited Serbian wine producers to come and present their wines at regional and international fairs," Markovic told Hina.
Nineteen Croatian wine makers are presenting their products in Serbia. The Vina Croatia-Vina Mosaica brand was presented at last year's BeoWine festival in Belgrade.
