The memorandum was signed ahead of Kras' participation in Seoul Food 2015, the biggest food and drink fair in Korea and Japan, on May 12-15.
Kras manufactures over 33,000 tonnes of confectionery products a year, of which half are exported around the world.
Kras' plans are oriented towards exports, with an emphasis on strengthening its leading role in the region, the press release said.
The potential of the Korean market for Croatian exporters was underlined at the signing ceremony, as well as the very good relations between the two countries, as evidenced by the increasing number of Korean tourists in Croatia and the increasing interest of Korean business people to invest in Croatia and its region.
The Croatian-Korean Business Club was established to promote and advance the economic cooperation between Croatia and South Korea, notably enterprise and trade, the press release said.
