The Clinical Centre in Ljubljana has admitted a woman with high temperature and symptoms indicating Ebola, which has not been confirmed. The woman is a Slovenian national who returned to Slovenia after visiting Sierra Leone, where the Ebola epidemic is still active. Her blood samples have been sent for analysis and initial results were negative, the statement said.
"The risk of appearance and spreading of Ebola in Croatia remains negligible. In the European Union, and in Croatia too, health monitoring measures are in force for people returning from Ebola-affected territories and they will remain in place until the Ebola epidemic in the African countries is over," the HZJZ said.
