ZAGREB, April 16
(Hina) - Croatia's strongest opposition party, the
Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), on Thursday addressed to parliament
an interpellation on the work of the government, saying that through
the speedy, illegal and non-transparent process of seismic exploration
and licensing for hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation in the
Adriatic Sea it had demonstrated indifference for the protection of
the sea and marine environment, minimised the role of parliament in
policy making and denied local government units a chance to
autonomously decide on their development priorities.
