ZAGREB, April 10
(Hina) - Leaders of 17 trade unions of employees in
the public sector on Friday lambasted a ruling of the Constitutional
Court on the unconstitutionality of the unions' request for a
referendum against outsourcing non-core activities from the public
sector, and during their harangue of Constitutional Court judges and
government officials at a news conference in Zagreb, unionists said
that the Court's ruling was "a blow to direct democracy".
