OSIJEK, April 8
(Hina) - The Osijek City Council on Wednesday
decided by a majority vote to greenlight a settlement with "Strabag"
and "Saubermacher" which envisages the payment of EUR 3.5 million as
compensation to those Austrian companies that claim that they have
been deprived of profit due to the cancellation of a contract between
the Eastern Slavonia Waste Management (ZOIS) public institution on the
building of a regional landfill, although the Austrian companies
demand five million euros.
