ZAGREB, March 13
(Hina) - By scrapping a plan to introduce property
tax that would bring about HRK 500 million to the national budget
annually, the government would protect the interests of the richest
citizens without having found a solution to the high annual deficit,
which amounts to HRK 17.5 billion in the pension system alone, former
finance minister Slavko Linic said on Friday.
