ZAGREB, March 1
(Hina) - Drago Prgomet, a former vice-president of
the opposition Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) who this past week left
the party, has said that he did it because he did not agree with party
leader Tomislav Karamarko's plan to turn the HDZ into a far-right
party and that a radical rhetoric may help the party win elections but
does not encourage hope that the HDZ would run the country in an
entirely democratic way.
