ZAGREB, Feb 25
(Hina) - Discrimination against Croatian Serbs and
Roma, a low rate of investigation and prosecution of war crimes and
the absence of a law on civilian victims of war in Croatia are the
shortcomings cited by global human rights watchdog Amnesty
International in its annual report released on Wednesday. Among the
positive measures it mentioned the law on monetary compensation for
victims of sexual violence in the Homeland War and the law on life
partnership.
