The shipyard's executive Branko Mataija told Hina that the ship would sail into the shipyard on Thursday and preparatory works would commence immediately for the ship to dock in the yard by January 19.
The overhaul is scheduled to last six months with a month's leeway.
According to Mataija the most intensive work would be to transform the power complex with three generators to be replaced.
Around 300 to 480 workers will be required for this job in all three shifts.
The shipyard was selected for the job after competing with six other Mediterranean shipyards. Lenac overhauled this same ship in 2011 to the mutual satisfaction of all parties involved.
Asked about the shipyard's business last year Mataija said the company's total income amounted to 48 million euro and that the year ended in the black with a minor profit.
