ZAGREB, Jan 11
(Hina) - The presidential candidate of the strongest
opposition Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party, Kolinda Grabar
Kitarovic, won the runoff presidential election in Croatia on Sunday,
defeating the Social Democratic Party's (SDP) candidate, incumbent Ivo
Josipovic, by a narrow margin, according to preliminary results
released in the evening after 99.5% of ballots counted.
