DUBROVNIK, Dec 14
(Hina) - President Ivo Josipovic, who is seeking a
second term in office, said during a visit to Dubrovnik on Sunday that
if the plan by the strongest opposition Croatian Democratic Union
(HDZ) party to abolish direct elections for President of the Republic
became a reality, it would mean a chancellor style of government with
unlimited power and ignoring the will of the people.
