Representatives of thirty-six parks from the region making up the Dinaric arc were present at the founding assembly which was attended by Montenegrin Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism Branimir Gvozdenovic. The network has been set up up to facilitate the exchange of experience and to develop joint projects to promote the parks in the region. This marks the finalisation of the main activities of the WWF project for the Dinaric arc parks over the past three years.
The association will be seated in Montenegro while Croatia's member of the management board will be the director of the Medvednica Nature Park, Snjezana Malic-Limari.
