ZAGREB, Nov 17
(Hina) - Bozidar Kalmeta, the current mayor of Zadar
and former minister of tourism and transport in HDZ-led governments,
on Monday said that he would prove his innocence after the Croatian
serious fraud office USKOK stated on its web site that Kalmeta was
under investigation on suspicion of corruption, but he could not
reveal any details about the ongoing investigation while his lawyer
Kresimir Vilajtovic told Hina that Kalmeta would appeal against the
investigation.
