ZAGREB, Nov 17
(Hina) - Croatian President Ivo Josipovic said on
Monday that he was aware of the crucial importance of Vukovar for
Croatia's defence and of its tragedy, expressing hope that
commemorations of Vukovar Remembrance Day on Tuesday would not be
compromised by incidents like the one that happened in 2013, and
calling for putting aside political aspirations, differences and
rivalry on that day of solemnity, dignity and pride.
