ZAGREB, Nov 14
(Hina) - The parliamentary Committee on the
Constitution on Friday rejected an amendment to the draft decision on
the request by the civil society group "In the Name of the Family" for
a referendum to change electoral legislation, by which the regional
HDSSB party proposed that the Constitutional Court should be asked to
assess whether legal preconditions for the referendum had been met and
whether the proposed referendum question was in line with the
Constitution.
