SPLIT, Oct 26
(Hina) - Addressing a ceremony on the 70th anniversary
of the liberation of the Adriatic city of Split from the Fascists,
Croatian President Ivo Josipovic said on Sunday that those who
declared the Tito-led Partisans war criminals did not do good to
Croatia and recalled that the first president of the Republic of
Croatia, Franjo Tudjman, had also been a member of the Partisan units
in the 1941-1945 war.
