ZAGREB, Oct 21
(Hina) - Granting a motion by the Croatian Serious
Fraud Office (USKOK), a Zagreb County Court judge on Tuesday remanded
Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic in custody for one month due to the risk of
possible witness tampering in one of the country's biggest
anti-corruption investigations, as well as due to a possible
repetition of crimes which the prosecution alleges have caused
financial damage in excess of 20 million kuna (approx. EUR 2.63
million).
