MUNICH, Oct 17
(Hina) - The trial of Josip Perkovic and Zdravko
Mustac, Yugoslav-era Croatian intelligence officials charged with
complicity in the murder of Croatian dissident Stjepan Djurekovic,
which started before the Higher Regional Court in Munich on Friday,
was briefly interrupted in the afternoon but continued soon afterwards
after Perkovic's Croatian attorney Anto Nobilo moved that the
prosecution state its position on possible influence of the German
intelligence service (BND) on some of the witnesses and its role in
terrorist activities in Socialist Yugoslavia.
