ZAGREB, Oct 17
(Hina) - Zagreb County Court President Ivan Turudic
said on Thursday that he had learned that he would not be the
president of the County Election Commission at the forthcoming
presidential election, adding that he believed the reason for this was
the fact that he had rendered the ruling to extradite Yugoslav-era
secret service official Josip Perkovic, who goes on trial in Munich on
Friday for the 1983 murder of Croatian dissident Stjepan Djurekovic.
