The director of the HEP-Opskrba Plinom gas supplier, Marko Blazevic, said that HEP had secured all conditions for normal gas supply in the coming winter season.
Blazevic said his company had both domestically-produced gas and imported gas and believed that it would suffice for secure gas supply to households.
A professor at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering, Igor Dekanic, agreed with Blazevic, adding that he was more afraid of a cold winter.
HSUP president Miljenko Sunic, too, said that there should be enough gas, noting that problems could arise in case of a failure on the gas supply network or a longer period of extreme cold, but that even then household consumption was not expected to be jeopardised.
