POZEGA, Oct 14
(Hina) - The leader of the Opposition Croatian
Democratic Union (HDZ) party, Tomislav Karamarko, said on Tuesday that
the government would rather do anything, including selling motorways,
but make effort to revive the economy, while the party's candidate for
the President of the Republic, Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, said that
President Ivo Josipovic's letter to Parliament Speaker Josip Leko on
changes to electoral legislation would have been a statesman-like move
had Josipovic requested Leko to organise a vote of no confidence in
the government.
