BRUSSELS, Sept 5
(Hina) - Agriculture Minister Tihomir Jakovina, who
on Friday attended an extraordinary meeting of the Agriculture Council
of the EU in Brussels focusing on the impact of Russia's import ban on
European food products, said that compensation measures for mandarin
orange growers had not been introduced and that they would not have
solved the problem because they amounted to only EUR 0.20 per
kilogram.
