ZAGREB, Aug 16
(Hina) - The world's best female discus thrower,
Sandra Perkovic of Croatia, has set a new national record at the
European Athletics Championships in Zurich with a 71.08 metre throw,
becoming the first female track-and-field athlete to win three
consecutive European champion titles in that discipline.
