(Hina) - Croatian President and Supreme Army Commander
Ivo Josipovic has sent a letter with best wishes on the occasion of
Victory Day and Homeland Thanksgiving Day which Croatia observes on 5
August in memory of 5 August 1995 when Croatian forces liberated Knin,
which used to be a stronghold of Serb rebels, and other central and
southern areas occupied by Serb paramilitaries supported by the
Yugoslav People's Army since 1991.
