ZAGREB, July 7
(Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic and
the president of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former
Yugoslavia (ICTY), Theodor Meron, on Monday held talks on plans to
establish the Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals and on
projects for information centres to remain as the legacy of
international justice in the region. During the talks, Meron praised
Croatia for its strong and independent judicial system which, he said,
guaranteed Croatian citizens' human rights.
