ZAGREB, July 1
(Hina) - The Croatian authorities on Tuesday began
collecting data from domestic financial institutions on bank accounts
and financial assets held by US taxpayers, and the data will be
exchanged with the US authorities as part of an agreement promoting
compliance with tax obligations at the international level and
implementation of the US Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA).
