ZAGREB, June 18
(Hina) - The association "The Voice of Parents for
Children", which goes by the acronym GROZD, on Wednesday welcomed the
new Science and Education Minister Vedran Mornar's statement that he
would talk with Church representatives about outstanding issues
regarding health and civic education, while another association, "The
Voice of Reason - Movement for a Secular Croatia", resented Mornar's
saying that religion classes belong in schools because "Croatia is a
predominantly Catholic country."
