ZAGREB, June 6
(Hina) - The SSSH trade union federation and a trade
union of workers in the health sector on Friday called on the
Croatians to give their signatures for a referendum on a legislative
ban on the government's plan to outsource non-core businesses in the
public sector, explaining that a law prohibiting the outsourcing of
jobs done by cleaners, janitors, cooks and maintenance workers would
prevent "yet another robbery" of Croatian workers.
