ZAGREB, May 29
(Hina) - After the Vecernji List daily carried a
report claiming that a company partly owned by Croatian Prime Minister
Zoran Milanovic's former sister-in-law was given a EUR 250,000 loan
from the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) in
late February 2012, two months after the Milanovic cabinet took
office, the spokesman for the government on Wednesday evening
explained that the premier had not been acquainted with any
information published in the contentious news item.
