ZAGREB, May 12
(Hina) - The civil society association "In The Name
Of The Family" has sent a request to the State Election Commission
asking it to deny the nongovernmental election monitoring organisation
GONG the right to monitor, as an unbiased observer, the election for
the European Parliament, scheduled for May 25, saying that GONG
should, if DIP finds it appropriate, monitor the election in the
capacity of observer of the ruling parties - the Social Democrats
(SDP) and the People's Party (HNS).
