ZAGREB, May 7
(Hina) - A preliminary examination of mortal remains
found in a pit near Gracac, inland from the coastal city of Zadar, has
shown that 19 civilians were thrown into it in August 1941 and that
they were most likely members of the Croatian family Ivezic, the
Veterans' Affairs Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
