(Hina) - The Istrian Democratic Party (IDS), a junior
partner in the four-party ruling coalition in Croatia, on Sunday
stated that it had cancelled a news conference which its candidate for
a member of the European Parliament, Ivan Jakovcic, should have held
with Natalija Martincevic, the leader of a group of former members of
the Croatian People's Party (HNS), another party in the governing
coalition, who are perceived as loyal to Radimir Cacic who was
recently ousted from the HNS.
