ZAGREB, April 28
(Hina) - Models on how to efficiently manage
non-core businesses in the public sector proved to be a divisive topic
during a conference in Zagreb on Monday when two ministers said that
the outsourcing of non-core businesses would be intensively considered
by the government, while trade union leaders insisted that this was a
wrong direction and a representative of the Croatian Employers'
Association (HUP) promised that in the event that private employers
took over this segment, workers in those businesses would enjoy the
vested right in the period between one and five years.
