ZAGREB, April 17
(Hina) - The Croatian government on Thursday
adopted a set of measures aimed at reducing the budget deficit by an
additional 0.4% of Gross Domestic Product, that is by HRK 1.3 billion
kuna, through an increase in fuel taxes and higher fees in the
telecommunication sector as well as through the curtailment of grants
in the agriculture and for SMEs as well as through the reduction of
planned investments in road construction.
