ZAGREB, March 31
(Hina) - Implementing the project "Upper Horizons",
which envisages redirecting some of the water from the Neretva River
to the Trebisnjica River, whereby around 4 billion cubic metres of
water would be drained from the Neretva River basin, would have a
disastrous impact on agricultural production in the Neretva River
valley on which more than 40,000 people depend, the Croatian Party of
Rights - Dr Ante Starcevic (HSP AS) said on Monday.
