ZAGREB, March 25
(Hina) - A former vice president of the Croatian
Football Federation (HNS), Zeljko Siric, was sentenced to four years
in prison on Tuesday for corruption in the Croatian premier league,
namely for taking bribes for "fair refereeing", while a former
secretary of the Karlovac Football Club, Neven Sprajcer, was given a
suspended sentence of ten months, which he will avoid if he does not
repeat the crime in the next four years.
