ZAGREB, March 7
(Hina) - A majority of parliamentary Opposition
groups and the Croatian People's Party (HNS), a junior member in the
ruling coalition, on Friday urged the parliament to open a debate on
dual-alphabet signs on public buildings in Vukovar as soon as possible
and on a referendum initiative regulating the use of minority
languages, which has been supported by 650,000 signatures of Croatian
citizens.
