(Hina) - The parliamentary opposition parties the
HDSSB, the HDZ, the Labour Party, the SDSS and independent MP Jadranka
Kosor have called for postponing a debate on amendments to the Labour
Act which started on Wednesday morning and for resuming talks with the
social partners on the amendments, while members of the ruling HNS
party said the government had called a number of negotiating rounds
and that it would not yield to blackmail.
