(Hina) - The GONG nongovernmental organisation and a
federation of consumer protection associations on Friday criticised
the government over "its hasty decision" to abolish the State
Inspectorate as an independent unit within the state administration
and warned that the decision to reassign state inspectors to work at
five ministries would undermine the autonomy and independence of
inspectors.
