ZAGREB, Jan 2
(Hina) - Josip Perkovic, a former intelligence agent
in the Yugoslav-era secret agencies and in Croatia, was taken from
custody to the prison infirmary in the night between Wednesday and
Thursday after the Zagreb County Court ruled that he should remain
behind bars pending a ruling on his extradition to Germany where he is
wanted for involvement in the murder of dissident Stjepan Djurekovic
near Munich in 1983.
