ZAGREB, Jan 1
(Hina) - The New Year 2014 ushers in a new, higher
value added tax rate of 13% on sugar, edible oil, water supply and
tourist services, and it also ushers in a new Consumer Credit Act, new
legislation on credit institutions as well as the abolishment of state
subsidies on the payment of housing savings, and Croatians will have a
new uniform form for the payment of salaries, pensions and extra
work.
