ZAGREB, Jan 22
(Hina) - Explaining its ruling under which Slovenia's
Ljubljanska Banka and its successor Nova Ljubljanska Banka must pay
back the Yugoslav-era savings deposits of their Croatian clients, the
Zagreb Municipal Civil Court has said that this is not a matter that
could be resolved in the process of succession to the former
Yugoslavia and that the former National Bank of Yugoslavia cannot be
the debtor in the case, which is what the Slovenian side claimed.
